Registration fees for ESSLLI 2018 include all courses and workshops as well as the Student Session.
It is not possible to register for a single week, to a single workshop, or to Student Session only. Registration to the Formal Grammar satellite conference is optional and can be taken separately.
Academic rate applies to scholars working in universities as well as to researchers working in public institutions.
Registration fees include neither accommodation nor lunches.
Registration with accommodation
It is possible to book and pay for accommodation in university hostels on the registration form by July 1st (if free beds are available). Availability is limited, it is strongly advised to book by May 31st. For other types of accommodation, please contact hotels directly. See the Accommodation page for details.
How to register
Fill out the Registration Form. Registration is complete only once the full payment is made.
To re-open your account, please send a request by email to: email@example.com.
Lecturers and workshop organizers: please register using the registration form above, selecting the participant type “Lecturer”. Do not forget to get in touch with the hotel to book your accommodation. See the Accommodation page for details.
All other participants with special status (e.g., evening lecturers) will be contacted by the Organizing Committee for registration instructions.
Workshop speakers are entitled to the student reduced fee, whether or not they are student. If you are invited speaker or have a paper accepted at a Workshop and want to take advantage of this reduced fee, please select: the participant type “Author of paper” option, the student option for reduced participation fee and indicate that you are a workshop speaker in the “Comments” field of the registration form. You are nevertheless encouraged to pay the regular Academics fee if you can afford it, to allow us to offer more student grants.
We will send letters for Visa request only after a careful analysis of the participant’s situation and after having double checked with the relevant institutions the information entered via the registration form. Payment and Cancellation conditions
- Credit card: Visa and Master Card.
- Bank transfer: send a copy of your bank transfer by email to email@example.com
Cancellation must be made in writing by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
For any cancellation request received before July 20th, 2018, registration fees will be reimbursed minus transfer fees if any. Only 50% reimbursement will be made for cancellation requests received after July 20th, 2018.
Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fee is received.
The school program may be subject to changes.
Application for grants will be opened in March 2018.
